Given its location in the southern rural part of the Dordogne Region, with neighbouring Lot close by, our gite "Le Crucifix" offers a haven of peace and tranquillity.

Set in nearly two acres of its own grounds, with a stunning view of the valley and the hills beyond, this two bed-roomed (sleeps 6) modern gite is an ideal base to explore the unspoilt Dordogne countryside that surrounds it.

With the exclusive use of the 10m x 4m swimming pool (salt water) positioned in a paved terraced area below the Gite’s balcony and a permanent stone built barbeque to one side - it is time to relax and enjoy!

The neighbours are a ¼ of a mile away either side and the recreation ground (The Stade) is a five minute stroll. The Stade is mainly used for Inter Commune Petanque (Boules) Tournaments - a fascinating game to watch!

The gite is also an ideal base to visit the Towns and Tourists Sites. Sarlat and Domme (Dordogne), also Gourdon (Lot) to name three of the most popular towns. La Roque Gageac, and the Chateaux of Beynac, Castelnaud and Milandes are some of the places worth a visit.

Further afield there is Limeuil (pronounced Lemoy!) where the Rivers Dordogne and the Vezere meet and Rocamadour the 2nd most visited tourist place in the whole of France!
