"For the second year in a row, we stayed in Le Crucifix and had a splendid time again. Both Mr. Sewell and Mr. Lamb made our stay unforgettable. The region which we love so much, the local markets, the fantastic restaurants in the neighbourhood (don't forget to visit the Saturday night's Marché
Nocturne in St. Pompon with oysters, foie gras and lots of other regional bits and bites). The sunset in the meadows, watching the deer watching us, mr. and mrs. Fox taking a late sunbath. Wished we were back!"

"Many thanks for a peaceful, relaxing break at Le Crucifix. Great location, just close enough to get to all the tourist sights of the Dordogne but far enough away to not hear the hustle and bustle. We loved the pool and garden area particularly and the stars at night! Special thanks for all the extras kindly supplied in the welcome pack - much appreciated. We will be back next year."

"This accommodation is absolutely excellent. Fully equipped, spacious, airy, well furnished and generally a delight to stay in. The well maintained and sizable swimming pool is an added bonus, particularly as the weather was extremely clement The whole experience of staying here with our two border collies and a 12 year old daughter was a pleasure from start to finish. The peaceful and spacious outside environment was a joy. Many thanks to Jim for his hospitality. This property is a credit to you."

"What a wonderful place on earth to spend the summer holidays. The warm welcome, the fully equipped gite, the swimming pool, the endless views from the balcony and on clear nights... thousands of stars..., the silence, too much to mention. Thank you so much for a fantastic fortnight in Le Crucifix. We'll be back!"

"Another wonderful stay at Le Crucifix. Lots of wild orchids and chevreuil in the garden and surrounding fields. Spring is as beautiful as ever, and the weather has been sunny all week so the pool was really appreciated. The house was lovely and warm, and well maintained. Thank you both for looking after what will forever be my "little piece of Heaven""

"I was blown away by everything about the place. The house was fantastic. Jim was there to welcome us and did so much towards ensuring our holiday was 5 star. I would highly recommend staying there. I will never forget the tranquility of gazing out over the treetops watching the sun go down whilst sipping a classic red wine from a nearby vineyard!
My children said it was one of their best holidays ever - there is so much to do nearby, from chateaux to kayaking down the Dordogne - amazing area. Thanks for a great time"
